Dr. Scholles attended school at Xavier University before graduating from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 1959. After graduation, Dr. Scholles founded the practice on Hempstead Drive in Finneytown. Along with managing his own practice, Dr. Scholles is extremely active in optometric organizations. His affiliations include the American Optometric Association where he served as President in 1988, the Ohio Optometric Association where he was named Optometrist of the Year in 1968 and served as President in 1972, and the Cincinnati Optometric Association where he served as President in 1967. Dr. Scholles has always had a special interest in contact lens fitting.
Dr. Wert grew up in nearby Montgomery, OH. After attending school at the University of Cincinnati for 1 year, Dr. Wert recieved his bachelor's degree from Kent State University. In 1971, Dr. Wert graduated from The Ohio State University College of Optometry and has been practicing optometry since. In his 37 years of practice, Dr. Wert has been active in the American Optometric Association, the Ohio Optometric Association, and the Cincinnati Optometric Association in which he has served as both Vice President and Secretary. Dr. Wert is currently in the office most days including some Saturdays.
Dr. Jutte is the most recent addition to the North Cincinnati Eyecare family. He received his bachelor's degree from Miami University in nearby Oxford, OH. In 2007, he graduated from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. Dr. Jutte's training includes externships at The Veterans Hospital in Akron, OH where he provided comprehensive eye exams and ocular disease consultations for veterans of the military. He also completed an externship at Commonwealth Eye Surgery in Lexington, KY, where he provided pre and post operative evaluations for cataract and refractive surgeries. He recently moved into a house in Wyoming with his wife, Elizabeth. Since graduating, Dr. Jutte has become an active member of the American Optometric Association, the Ohio Optometric Association, and the Cincinnati Optometric Association. He has a special interest in pediatric exams and children's vision.
